Designing My Own Neon Signs

December 16th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

Seeing how neon open signs work for other establishments, I find it a great idea to have one of my own. Buying ready-made open signs just wouldn’t work for me. I want my neon open signs to look not like the rest of the stores and establishments in our area. So, I went on to create my own neon open signs.

Open signs will be of great help to attract customers towards our business. In order for them to be seen right away, I ordered one in a pretty good size. Something that’s not only visible to walking customers but also to those driving or sitting in their vehicles. Choosing the text style is pretty easy. I opted for a horizontal unit with the text in standard form. Having loopy texts will be difficult to decipher in a distance. I need ones that can be seen and read clearly. The borders can highly accentuate the text inside so I designed one in a loop. A lot of open signs I saw had a rectangular border over them so a circular one can break the monotony. I also decided to incorporate our company logo on the right upper edge of the design to make them more unique.

Selecting colors is pretty fun. Since our company logo sport a yellow and purple color, I chose the same color scheme for our open signage to tie everything up. The word “open: is made yellow while the borders casually sport a purple hue. Designing neon signs for our business is real fun.

Knowing About The Usefulness Of “Closed” Neon Signs To Individuals

December 16th, 2010 Posted in Uncategorized

Several people would believe that it is a completely worthless idea when the “closed” neon signs are erected on business establishments, though this information tends to point out that the stores have ceased any transactions for the day.

It will be a great advantage for business premises to simply hang close neon signs so that people will instantly see the sign at a distance and not be inconvenienced to drawing closer to the store. This makes it easy for people to be aware ahead of time that the business units are not available for conducting transactions or sales at that particular time.

People using their cars would not suffer the inconvenience of not only securing parking but getting out of their cars as well only to discover that the store they are going to is not conducting any business at the time. But if they had seen the close sign was on, they could have made a wiser choice.

The closed neon signage can also be used in private offices. It is a convenient option for private practitioners like dentists, lawyers and physicians who normally get caught up in abrupt appointments, court hearings or surgical emergencies that prop up suddenly in their line of duty making them to leave their offices.
